 This series of three necklace and earring sets are made from silver plated ear wires, silver plated snake chain and have silver plated connector accents like the one shown above. Each strand is approximately 36" before it's connected and is decorated with larger beads than most of my other necklaces. Each comes with coordinating earrings. They will remain consistent with the photos, but as with all of my work, each piece is individual and will have it's own character. I have decided to use silver plated items instead of solid silver because of where the cost of silver has come recently. I will frequently see jewelry I like, but hesitate when I see prices. I understand their value as artisan crafted items, but that doesn't always mean I will buy it. With earrings starting at $10, I hope to give access to beautiful, handcrafted jewelry without hitting the bank too hard.  |  The Staple This guy is one I wear all the time. Seems to go with everything. The larger beads really add substance & weight and I play with it all day. It is made from light turquoise round glass beads, white glass that has been rolled into a cylinder shape and amber glass that is formed into a textured rectangle. I use the light turquoise glass because as you work the glass the color varies so you get a vein of richer blue in with the lighter turquoise for some flair.
