Lampwork Bead Jewelry
I like fire. I could sit by a fire all night, listening to the pops and crackles and watching the embers fly. It seemed perfect to have a hobby where I could manipulate media using heat. I started working with glass in college, taking a class with Albert Young Studios in Detroit. Soon after, I spent some time welding and metalworking. I couldn't have a glass blowing studio at home, so I switched to lampworking and have been making beads ever since.
All the photos taken of the jewelry were done with love and humor by Tamara of Silver Thumb Photography. Brides in Michigan- get her while you can!!!
